Support with care
Ask who is responsible, what will be reported, and which recipient receives support before making any commitment.
See partnership routesPlatform boundary: All NGO India shares public information and connection routes. Check details with the relevant organisation before volunteering, sharing data, or making a contribution.
Use this page as a starting point for thoughtful participation in social-impact work. We are building a practical library for NGOs, volunteers, researchers, community members, writers, and people who want to support a cause responsibly.
Find and understand organisations
Start with the Find NGOs directory and search by cause or location when listings are available. Read the full profile, check the organisation’s own public channels, and ask questions before volunteering, partnering, or making a contribution. A profile on All NGO India is an information lead, not a substitute for your own due diligence.
For NGOs and community initiatives
- Use the List or Claim an NGO page to submit accurate, current information.
- Prepare the organisation’s correct name, mission, location, public contact details, website, and impact description.
- Share only information that you have permission to publish and avoid unnecessary personal or beneficiary data.
- Explain what can be independently checked and tell us promptly when a public detail changes.
For volunteers and supporters
Ask who will receive your time, money, data, or materials; what the intended outcome is; how progress will be reported; and which organisation or beneficiary is responsible. Be cautious about urgent payment requests, pressure to keep a transaction secret, requests for passwords or one-time codes, and stories that cannot be reasonably corroborated.
For writers and researchers
We welcome clear, original, and responsibly sourced social-impact writing. Please distinguish verified facts from personal experience, disclose conflicts of interest, respect consent and privacy, and avoid identifying vulnerable people without a lawful and ethical basis. Use the Contact page for editorial ideas, corrections, and publication enquiries.
Information-status labels
We use labels such as Community information, Organisation claimed, Documents reviewed, and Darpan ID supplied to explain what information is available to the platform. These labels are not government certification, endorsement, or a guarantee of effectiveness.
Safety note
All NGO India is not an emergency service, crisis-response organisation, government authority, regulator, or legal adviser. If someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical, police, child-protection, or other public assistance, contact the appropriate local authority directly. For immediate danger in India, visitors may refer to the Ministry of Home Affairs Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) information on the nationwide single emergency number 112. For platform concerns, use the Contact page.
More resources are coming
We will expand this hub with guides for responsible giving, volunteer preparation, NGO profile maintenance, CSR conversations, and community moderation. Suggestions for useful resources are welcome through the Contact page.
