All NGO India aims to make NGO and social-impact information easier to discover while being transparent about what the platform does and does not know. This policy explains how listings and related information are reviewed and how status labels should be understood.
1. What this platform is
All NGO India is an independent, non-governmental information platform. It is not a government authority, regulator, registrar, certifying body, donor, auditor, or representative of any organisation. A listing is not an endorsement, accreditation, guarantee of impact, or promise that an organisation is currently active. Readers should independently verify details before volunteering, sharing personal information, entering an agreement, or donating.
2. Information-status labels

Labels may coexist, may be limited to a particular field or document, and may be changed if information becomes outdated, disputed, withdrawn, or corrected. No label should be read as a promise that an organisation is safe, effective, financially sound, or suitable for a particular person.
3. Listing and review process
- We collect information from public sources, organisation submissions, claims, community members, and editorial research.
- We check for basic completeness, obvious duplication, relevance to the directory, and apparent safety or legal concerns.
- New submissions and claim requests may remain pending while we request clarification or supporting information.
- Where documents or identifiers are supplied, we record only an appropriate status label and do not imply a broader audit than was performed.
- We may publish, hold, edit, decline, unpublish, or request correction without giving a listing a positive endorsement.
4. Sources and editorial judgement
We prefer information supplied by an identifiable organisation representative or a reliable public source, but sources can still be incomplete or outdated. We may use official organisation websites, public registers, public reports, published contact details, news coverage, and community information as appropriate to the subject. Editorial decisions consider relevance, clarity, privacy, safeguarding, credibility, duplication, conflicts of interest, and the potential risk of misleading readers.
5. Corrections, disputes, and updates
Organisations and readers may request a correction, update, removal, or review through the Contact page or the List or Claim an NGO page. Please provide the page URL, the specific issue, the proposed correction, and supporting information that does not expose unnecessary personal data. We may ask for reasonable verification, publish a correction, add context, change a status label, hold the page, or remove it where appropriate.
A disagreement with an organisation, a negative review, or a request to remove lawful criticism does not automatically require removal. At the same time, privacy, safeguarding, impersonation, fraud, defamation, unlawful content, or material inaccuracy may justify immediate action. We may preserve limited records to maintain editorial integrity and prevent repeated abuse.
6. News, articles, and sponsored material
News and submitted articles may reflect the information available at the time of publication. We may edit for clarity, length, safety, and house style. Publication does not mean that every claim is independently confirmed or that All NGO India endorses the organisation or viewpoint. Any future paid, sponsored, or partnership material should be identified clearly and should not be presented as independent verification.
7. Donations and financial caution
Any donation or payment link must be reviewed separately for beneficiary identity, payment ownership, compliance, disclosures, refunds, and applicable tax or foreign-exchange considerations before it is promoted. A link appearing on the platform does not mean that All NGO India has received, pooled, audited, or guaranteed the funds. Confirm the recipient and relevant details directly before making a donation.
8. Contact and policy updates
Questions about a listing, status label, editorial decision, correction, or claim can be sent through the Contact page. We may update this policy as the directory, moderation process, or verification practices develop.
