Relief India Trust supports High Court’s tribute to Dr. Abdul Kalam

The whole nation is grieved by the demise of exemplary Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Many thought that an entire week should be declared as a national off in the memory of late ex-president. But isn’t this idea fundamentally against what he preached throughout his life? Dr. Kalam worked till his last breath. He left for the heavenly abode while delivering motivational speech to the students at IIM Shillong. Relief India Trust believes that a public holiday is definitely not the best way to commemorate the ‘missile-man’ of India.

The exact way to pay homage to Dr. Kalam has been the one undertaken by the High Court. The High Court has decided to work for 15 minutes extra everyday for 5 days, starting today. The high courts would now be operational till 5pm for the next five days. Relief India Trust salutes this initiative in the honor of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
